Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering, UTP!
The Faculty of Engineering is home to over 4191 undergraduate, postgraduate and research students. Teaching and learning in the Faculty is fostered by approximately 168 academic staff in addition to technical and administrative staff.
The programmes offered are industrial-driven and complemented by our distinguished research clusters in providing outstanding teaching and applied research activities. All our programmes have obtained full accreditation by the Malaysian Government and Washington Accord. This has assured our programmes are of a very high standard and highly recognised by the industry.
Everyone in the Faculty is committed to providing the best educational and learning experience for our students. To-date, the Faculty has produced 18,104 well-rounded graduates since 2001. Our graduates are highly regarded and in great demand by the industry. More than 95% of our graduates have been employed within 6 months of graduation.
