Governance


To ensure integrated governance is embedded in the faculty, academic committees under the leadership of Dean were formed to oversee and manage academic and examination matters.


FSITAC: Faculty of Science & Information Technology Academic Committee


FSIT AC is the faculty governance body, having responsibility for:

  1. Decision making on academic matters, review and endorsement of policy and procedure, to oversee and regulate the teaching and learning works.
  2. Administer examination matters, including endorsement of examination papers and results. 

FSIT AC is chaired by Dean, and members included:

  1. Computer & Information Sciences (CIS), Fundamental & Applied Sciences (FAS), Geosciences and Management & Humanities (M&H) Department Chairs.
  2. Faculty Executive as Secretary
  3. Other members appointed by Chairman. ​
