November 16, 2024 – Faculty members from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) introduced 145 students from Kolej MARA Kuala Nerang, Kedah, to the Bachelor of Integrated Engineering (Hons.) Programme, set to launch in September 2025. This visionary initiative aims to equip future engineers with multidisciplinary skills to meet the demands of an evolving global workforce. The session highlighted the programme’s innovative curriculum, designed to merge various engineering disciplines and foster problem-solving skills for real-world challenges. Students responded enthusiastically, engaging actively and showing keen interest in the programme’s potential. Many were intrigued by the broad career prospects and the opportunities it could unlock, expressing optimism about their future in the engineering field. With its focus on shaping adaptable, industry-ready graduates, UTP’s Integrated Engineering Programme is poised to redefine engineering education and prepare Malaysia’s future engineers for global success.​
