I have submitted my application. What is the next process?
Application must be made
online (closing date for online application for each intake session will be notified on the UTP website/application portal).
Your application will only be processed WHEN:
- The
online application has been submitted (Note: A reference number will be generated and will appear in the pop-up message upon each successful submission); AND
- You are then to check your application status via the UTP website within the dates as stipulated in the application portal
(Note: Please remember your email address and your password used for the on-line application as they are required for future logins - checking of application status, etc.)

How much is the registration or total fee, and when to pay?
Registration fee for new students is only RM1,300.00, which is payable before the registration date. Kindly refer to the TUITION FEES TABLE section.
Note:
- Students are advised to settle all payments one (1) month prior to the start date of the final examination for each semester.
- The Management of UTP reserves the right to revise fees as and when required without prior notice.
Will there be in-campus accommodation available?
Yes. Students will be provided with accommodation for the duration of their education at UTP. The cost of accommodation is approximately RM1120.00/semester.
Does UTP provide sponsorship?
UTP does not directly provide sponsorship. The university offers placement opportunities for students to further their studies at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
However, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE options are available for students who meet the eligibility criteria. The Sponsorship & Welfare Unit assists qualified students in applying for external sponsorships and funding.
