Ihya Ramadhan with UTP Alumni

Every year, An Nur Mosque will provide iftar daily during Ramadhan for all UTP community and qariah members. This year, there is no exception. With around 700 students on campus during the holy month, An Nur will provide packed food for iftar.

We aim for alumni to support this tradition for at least 1 day, which is RM3,000.00

VIRTUAL REUNION UTP PG PEERS

Distance does matters but with technology and virtual platforms, we can now have more productive engagements with our alumni from all over the world.

This group started as Post Graduate Peers back in 2011 before they advanced into Post Graduate Student Council. Among their achievements were organising various events and academic courses to assist their fellow friends from the post graduates community.

These alumni, some pursuing their academic journey or working in the oil and gas industry, were happily reunited virtually after more than 8-10 years from graduation despite being in various locations including Netherland, Nigeria, Canada, Ireland and Malaysia. They readily gave back to the University by sharing various experiences and success stories.

Those who would like to know more or collaborate with these alumni may get more details from Alumni Relations Office.

VICE CHANCELLOR'S ONLINE ENGAGEMENT WITH ALUMNI IN INDIA

As of April 2021, UTP has a total of 92 alumni from India which includes 11 undergraduates and 81 postgraduates.

It was indeed a great pleasure to reconnect with some of them during the engagement session with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ts. M. Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib on 24th March 2021. Apart from sharing insightful thoughts and experiences, this engagement provides numerous opportunities for potential collaborations with institutions/universities in India in various fields and disciplines.

VISIT BY YB WAN AHMAD FAYSHAL, DEPUTY MINISTER, MINISTRY OF YOUTH & SPORTS TO UTP

YB Wan Ahmad Fayshal made his comeback to UTP as a prominent alumni during his official visit to engage with the youth in Seri Iskandar, Perak. The engagement session with the youth was hosted in UTP and attended by student leaders from UiTM Seri Iskandar and Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara via online while UTP student leaders had the opportunity to meet him physically.

During the interview session with YB Wan Ahmad Fayshal, he dedicated his special thanks to his alma mater for the wonderful journey he went through as a student and encouraged potential students to choose UTP as the university of choice.

The University would like to thank YB Wan Ahmad Fayshal for all the support towards UTP.
