Young Alumni Associates (Y.A.A.), is an association that acts as an extension to the UTP Alumni. Y.A.A came into existence in 2012 where its primary goal at the time was to assist the Alumni office in executing alumni events related to UTP.
The establishment of Y.A.A was the idea of Mr. Khairul Badrisham bin Ramly, currently the Head of the UTP Alumni Office. Y.A.A is designed to be a platform that engages current students with UTP Alumni.
The objectives of this initiatives are:

To serve as a bridge between current students and alumni.

To work in line with the Alumni Office to help organise activities for UTP Alumni.

To act as an outlet for UTP Alumni to reach out to current students.

To strengthen the relationship among UTP graduates and UTP students.

To lead, encourage and support students during on-campus and off-campus activities, in a safe and friendly manner.
