The choice of Malaysia for this technological institution is underscored by the presence of over 280 French subsidiaries in the region, solidifying Malaysia as France's second-most significant partner in ASEAN, following Singapore.
This strategic collaboration culminated in the establishment of the Center of Excellence for a Sustainable Industry at UTP & Arts et Metiers (CoESIUM) in October 2022, under the joint leadership of the Presidents of Arts et Métiers and UTP. Functioning as a beacon of excellence and technological innovation, CoESIUM strives to bolster businesses in Malaysia and the ASEAN region on their journey towards a sustainable industry. This support is facilitated through collaborative research and training projects, encompassing both initial and ongoing initiatives.
