PERAK Gateway	Provide accessibility to information and data for the enhancement and sharing of knowledge throughout the state in particular and nation in general To provide online platform that allows members, individuals and agencies that are interested in public service delivery to exchange ideas and knowledge through a search engine, forums, and blogs	Perak State to share and contribute their information and data into the institutional repository (IR) for the benefits of the public. Data and information are scattered and placed in various ICT platforms throughout the state department, agencies, city council, district offices, libraries, archives and museum, as such, it is difficult for public to have access to state’s information and data. This project shall provide a single hub which are effective, easily accessible, faster and accurate for the public and stakeholders	Establish the enterprise knowledge portal to support academic and research activities at the state and national level
UShare	To established Enterprise Content Management (ECM) represents integrated enterprise-wide management of the life cycles of all forms of recorded information content and their metadata, organized according to corporate taxonomies, and supported by appropriate technological and administrative infrastructures	Expertise mining in getting knowledge ecosystem for university Development of corporate taxonomy Implementing corporate taxonomy in UTP enterprise content management (Ushare) Implementing electronic filing in UShare	Established the enterprise knowledge portal to support academic and research activities for the university Developed the knowledge mapping for the university
Research Gateway	To connect to various reference sources inclusive of books, literature reviews, articles, journals (subscribed and open access), experts info, university collaborations and connected to higher ranking university worldwide To provide Research Data Management platform that promote research outcome	Connecting multiple sites that provide access to university databases (connectors) all over the world. The criteria of the databases are: Top ranking universities (THE and QS) repositories of library databases Open databases that conformed to Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) Produced by industries and agencies that have collaboration with research institutes	The Research Gateway benefited university research community through resource sharing and research visibility Simplified information searching through digital library platform with discovery services, connecting people with experts and making research works more visible. Cost saving in providing alternative to research data management solution up to RM1.2m and RM500k subscription annually
UTP Corporate Memory	To provide info structure on university’s corporate memory platform To make accessible of all materials compiled and digitized in single platform	Study, benchmark and formulate the best access, organization and visibility of university corporate memory collection using custom made system and platform for UTP Corporate Memory To commercialize photos and enhancing sharing by UTP community, stakeholder and public	UTP Corporate Memory are ready to be a platform and portal for photos and video commercialization in year 2019. Mechanism for request and purchase will be started in year 2019, forecast to generate income for the universities. The photo gallery portal are boost up the university’s visibility about 30% in a quarter (SEO: 120k count in one month)
Research Discovery	To improve search performance through the use of new technology. To enhance resources for literature review To provide access to high quality content Discovery research systems play an important role in academic libraries, allowing researchers and students to find access to high-quality content in a more intuitive and accurate way. It changes the way resources are searched: an entire collection can be scrutinized through a single search box.
