Dear Students,
The Senate in its sitting on 26 November 2020 had agreed on the following Academic Operations and Activities for Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate students for the January 2021 Semester:
- The January 2021 Semester will commence on 4 January 2021, as per UTP Academic Calendar for the year 2021.
- All teaching, learning and assessment activities for the January 2021 Semester will be conducted via online platform. These include lab-based components, or courses, which will be delivered via virtual or simulation lab.
- All supervision for project-based courses e.g., ETP, MPU4, FYP, STP, TTP and capstone will be conducted via online platform.
If students are required to return to UTP, e.g., to complete physical laboratory work and experiments, they will be notified two weeks earlier prior to the date of return to UTP. The return arrangement will follow as per COVID Response Team’s approval.
