Ministry of Higher Education has released a Media Statement and SOP for all Institution of Higher Learning Students to return to hometown in conjunction with the Aidilfitri Holiday as well as SOP and procedures for coming back to campus after the holiday. Students can return to all states except Sarawak within the range of timeline as per below period:-

Return to Hometown : Between 7^th May 2021 – 12^th May 2021

Coming Back to Campus : Between 15^th May 2021 – 20^th May 2021

For UTP, students are advised to apply and register their intention to travel for both ways at least 3 days prior the travelling to and fro. Links as per given below are used to capture your application to return hometown as well as to return to campus.

Students are advised to observe and comply to all SOP and procedures set by the Authorities during travelling back to hometown as well as coming back to campus.

1)Based on the online forms as per given in the above links, postgraduate students must declare their hometown zoning status to UTP. Students will need to upload My Sejahtera travelling records for our reference.

2)Postgraduates students from PKP / PKPB areas can only be allowed to enter campus if they do Home Isolation for 10 days at their own respective rental house OR at the designated venue provided by the Residential Village.

3)Alternatively students can also opt to take RT PCR Test 3 days before travelling to campus to skip from exercising Home Isolation.

4)Procedures for home isolation is attached herein. Throughout home isolation procedures students are advised to minimise contact with others and to always practice social distancing. Students are advised to prepare enough food supply and basic necessities throughout 10 days of home isolation.
