Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan for the State of Perak

 

Dear Students,

In line with the recent announcement on the Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan for the state of Perak, the following measures will continue to take effect on 6 July 2021:

1. Students shall continue with teaching and learning activities via online and hybrid.

2. On-campus students are to remain on campus. However, they are allowed for daily outing for a maximum of 3 hours within 10 km radius from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. Only two students per vehicle.


3. Postgraduate students are allowed for daily entry into the campus to conduct critical laboratory/research work individually.


4. Any student who is already on-campus but wishes to leave the campus for any reasons whatsoever will be required to undergo the RT-PCR test or a 10-day isolation period prior to returning back to campus.

5. Only outdoor individual exercise with a distance of 2 to 3 meters is allowed.

6. All physical sports, recreational, social, religious and students’ activities in groups are not allowed.

7. Cafeterias and marts are allowed to operate from 6 am to 10 pm. For the full schedule of the cafeterias, please refer to Cafeteria
Dine-in is not allowed. Food delivery service, i.e. GrabFood or Foodpanda, in UTP is available until 10 pm. The food delivery service pick-up point is at the respective village centres.

8. Students who are currently at home are to remain at home until further notice from the University.

9. The percentage of UTP workforce allowed on campus is 20% at any one time. Hence, only essential staff are allowed to enter the campus for a maximum of 4 hours daily.

Throughout the lockdown, please stay safe, take care of your health, adopt good hygiene practices and practice social distancing.
