​Student Representative Council Election Day 2009/2010 (28 Oct 2010 )

The Election for the University’s Student Representative Council 2009/2010 was held on 28th October 2009 in the campus. The casting process began at 9:00 am – 5:00 pm where students cast their votes at their respective Residential Villages. For the students undergoing internship, the casting venue was at Room 9, Pocket D.

One of the objectives of this election is to provide a platform for potential leaders to develop their leadership and communication skills in order to acquire the necessary capabilities to be future leaders of the industry and nation. For this year’s election, only six (6) candidates contested for the general constituency.

There were five (5) seats allocated for the general constituency, for the following positions:

1. President

2. Vice President

3. Secretary I

4. Secretary II

5. Treasurer

 

Six (6) candidates contested in the general constituency and the five (5) elected members are as follows (in no specific order):

1. Muhammad Haniff Bin Human

2. Wan Abdul Mu’id Basidth Bin Wan Lokman

3. Nurul Ain Binti R Azman

4. Jenani A/P Jayavalan

5. Ahmad Umair Bin Zubir
