UTP Excelled With 18 Medals At The British Invention Show (BIS)
(24 – 27 October 2012)
UTP researchers marked another international triumph when all of its 18 products/inventions won medals at the in its first participation of the British Invention Show’s (BIS) at the Barbican Exhibition Centre, London. UTP bagged 9 gold, 8 silver and 1 bronze medals, testifying its strengths and aspiration towards becoming a centre of innovation and creativity.

The BIS was created to develop new business opportunities by bringing together innovation and enterprise, investors and inventors, designers and manufacturers alongside associated service providers.

A panel of 25 expert judges on behalf of the British Inventor's Society evaluated all products based on social and ecological benefits to mankind, originality, ingenuity, design and functionality.
BIS promotes original prototypes, new designs and techniques, including bridging interaction and commercial contacts between inventors, manufacturers, distributors and financial partners.
The winners were announced during a special award presentation on 26 October 2012.UTP's winning products/inventions are as below :
