​UTP Maintains Its Excellent Achievement in SETARA 2018/2019

18 December 2020 - UTP has once again retained its outstanding achievement in the Rating System for the Malaysian Higher Education Institutions (SETARA) 2018/2019 with a 6-star (outstanding) rating. The university is one of the eight top universities nationwide that achieved the coveted 6-star rating. This was a repeat achievement for UTP as it also scored 6 stars for SETARA 2017/2018.

SETARA is a rating system carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education to assess Malaysia’s universities in the areas of teaching, research and services.

With this achievement, it shows that UTP has consistently delivered and provided high quality and impactful education to students.

UTP has continuously achieved excellence by maintaining its position as the top private Malaysian university, proven through consistently being ranked in the world and the nation rankings and ratings such as Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Times Higher Education (THE), Malaysia Research Assessment Rating System (MyRA) and SETARA.
