Yayasan Terengganu and UTP sign MoU to provide scholarships to Terengganu students from the B40 Income Group

Yayasan Terengganu (YT) and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in sponsoring excellent students of Terengganu from the B40 income group to further their studies at UTP.

For this MoU, eight students received scholarships to continue their studies at the foundation and bachelor's degree level at UTP.

The MoU was signed between YT Chairman of the Shariah Implementation, Education and Higher Education Committee En Satiful Bahari Mamat and UTP Vice Chancellor Professor Ts. Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Terengganu Menteri Besar, YBhg Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and ITPSB Chairman, Board of Directors YBhg Dato' Raiha Azni Abd Rahman.

Prior to the MoU, UTP delegates together with YBhg Dato' Raiha visited Terengganu Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Council (MAIDAM) and were received by its Yang Dipertua YBhg Dato' Haji Osman Muda, Chief Executive Officer Tuan Haji M Rozi Bidin and management personnel.
