UTP Ranked the Best University in Malaysia

Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) has achieved a historic milestone when it secures the position as Malaysia’s number one university and emerges as the number one private university in ASEAN in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2023. The university has leaped 32 spots, advancing from the 95th position last year to an impressive 63rd place in this year's rankings.
UTP Vice Chancellor Professor Ts. Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib expressed his delight with the university's remarkable achievement.
“This accomplishment reflects our unwavering commitment to academic excellence, impactful research and innovation, and creating an exceptional student experience. We will continue to uphold these high standards as we strive to make a lasting impact in the global academic and research arena.
