PROF. DR. TANG TONG BOON
Professor Dr. Tang Tong Boon received the B.Eng. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Intelligent Sensor Fusion, both from the University of Edinburgh, U.K., in 1999 and 2006, respectively. In 2012, he joined the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS as an Associate Professor. Since 2018, he is appointed as the Director, Institute of Health & Analytics, one of the six research institutes at UTP. Recently Dr. Tang has been awarded the Mountbatten Medal, one of the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s (IET) Achievement Awards and Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM) by Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM).
