On 2018, Dr Yani Rahmawati from Centre for Urban Resource Sustainability (CUReS) has secured an international grant from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya with collaboration AP Dr Christiono Utomo. The main objective of the research is to develop a conceptual model for improving land productivity through commercial properties, especially for cultural heritage buildings. The collaboration didn’t stop there when on 7th - 10th Feb 2019, Dr Yani Rahmawati has been invited to conduct Lecture Series to Project Management MSc students in ITS.
Through her expertise, it has open up new potential collaboration to build decision support system in redeveloping cultural heritage based from the conceptual model that already built from the current research. The upcoming collaboration can engage the cultural heritages expert team, which is also applied for international collaboration research grant from Indonesian higher education fund.
ITS is part of R&I ASEAN Initiatives under purview of Prof Ir Dr M Shahir Liew, DVCRI that has actively support for long term collaboration in research activities.
