The 1st International Conference on Theoretical and Applied Linguistics was held on 28th – 29th of January 2019 in University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Science, Pakistan. The conference aims to support and encourage researchers by providing them an opportunity to present their work. Besides, the conference had the opportunity and interactive session among participants and scholars to share and get feedback for their research works. The conference brought the participants a significant gathering among researchers from all over the country of Pakistan working on various fields of language and linguistics.

The conference provides a good platform for Centre for social transformation for sustainable lifestyle (CSS) on the potential project or research collaboration in the area of linguistic and applied linguistics and also create good opportunities to CSS to have various activities such as research collaboration, short course, exchange grants, workshop and exchange programs.
