A pangkor Townhall 1.0 an event of Dialog Session with Stakeholders ad Community of Teluk Nipah was conducted at KEJORA Garden Resort, Pulau Pangkor on the 28th of August 2019. The objective of this event is to gauge the level of consciousness among the key stakeholders anf local community on the coastal problems and the importance of coastal conservation at Teluk Nipah, Pangkor. The dialog session also served as a platform for the local community to share their concerns on the coastal problems experienced in Teluk Nipah for stakeholders' attention and action.
The Pangkor Townhall 1.0 was attended by 100 participants. 56 of them are the key stakeholders of Teluk Nipah consisting of business owners, hotel owners, beach boy, fisherman and the local residents. The event was also attended by Komander Nordin bin Ahmad Ismail (Penyelaras DUN Pangkor dan Ahli Majlis Perbandaran Manjung), Y.Bhg Mohamad Shamsul Izwan bin Sulaiman (MPM), Tuan Hj Mohamad Khamis bin Kassim (Penghulu Pulau Pangkor), Nor Azman bin Hassan (Pegawai Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah Manjung) and En Norhashim bin Mohd Ramli (JPS representative).
