A total of 6 panelists of different expertise were invited to share their experiences in mangrove conservation, protection and rehabiliation in the PKKB2020 Forum.  The panelists are:

• Tuan Haji Ramli bin Mat, Deputy Director of Jabatan Perhutanan Perak
• Ir. Nik Abdullah Muaz Nik Mohd Kamel, Director of Coastal & Hydraulic Department,  Dr. Nik & Associates Sdn. Bhd. (DNA)
•  En. Nagarajan Rengasamy, Manager of Program Pantai dan Hutan, Global Environment Centre (NGO)
• En Mohamad Ismail Bin Ibrahim, HoD of Bahagian Pelancongan, Jabatan Pembangunan Komuiti dan Sosial, Majlis Perbandaran Manjung (MPM)
• Dr Teh Hee Min, member of Institute of Self-Sustainable Building (ISB), UTP

The moderator for the PKKB2020 Forum was Dr Subarna Sivapalan. Some of the topics discussed in the forum were the roles and significance of mangrove forests, threats to mangrove ecosystem, mangrove forest conservation and rehabilitation, integration between mangrove environment and coastal community, socio-economy of the coastal community, upgrading of mangrove forests, mangrove protection using engineering approaches, etc. The forum managed to attract a total of 1123 viewers via YouTube Live, and the public comments given were all positive and very encouraging. The forum ended with an online quiz session, and a total of 115 e-vouchers were given to the winners.

This program was jointly organized by ISB, USR and MPU4. PKKB2020 was led by En Wan Muhammad Bahrein Wan Amir Abdul Hakim, and the project was supervised by Dr Noridah Osman, Dr Subarna Sivapalan and Dr Teh Hee Min.  The main sponsors of this event were MH and Printcious.
