​Tips#2 Transition: General Strategies

A life event is the best time to re-structure or re-engineer of self in improving lifestyles as well as habit. Why? Because it challenges our norms.


Progressively in re-engineering, we must always look through our personal capacity and to expand the capability, so we are not stagnant.


Before we go further, there is interesting facts in positive psychology, researcher had found science of happiness. The hedonic view equates happiness with pleasure, comfort, and enjoyment, whereas the eudaimonic view equates happiness with the human ability to pursue complex goals which are meaningful to the individual and society. Let see a video to further understand.


We must be balanced in this both views to feel the enjoyment as well as a meaningful life. We come from schools that have its own rules and a lot of students consider this as a limitation. But do you know that at all level of age we will continuously face with rules and regulations. So does in UTP and it does not mean to stop us from pursuing something meaningful in our life. And just imagine world without rules, regulations? We cannot even created a norms or a culture.


Have we thoughts about, rules for our self? And have we created any norms or culture of our self? And this is what it means by transition strategies. We have create our own rules or we can call it habit.


Habit is claimed as autonomous action where it does not need a cue for it to be happened. But how to make it autonomous? Its about practice. Research says we have to take 2 months for an action to be habit, at least.


We provide six strategies we call it General Strategy card which includes physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, relationship and academic self care.
