UTP Drillers continued their domination in rugby after emerging champion in the Plate Category in the Get into Rugby (GIR) Arau 7s Rugby Tournament.
The Drillers displayed superb performance with victories over five Sukma (Sukan Malaysia) teams namely Kedah, Perlis, Terengganu, Selangor and Perak, en route to winning the competition.
The GIR Arau 7s Rugby Tournament was organised by Kolej Vokasional (KV) Arau Perlis. This national level tournament attracted 54 teams across Malaysia participating in four categories, which are Touch Rugby Under 21 (Female), Under 17 (Male), Under 19 Vocational (Male) and Under 21 (Male).
