2) Team Bazaar Rakyat – Iskandar Danial Bin Adam Adonis (Petroleum Eng)
and Putra Nazaratunnaim Bin Zaidi (Petroleum Eng)
Team Bazaar Rakyat won 2 awards for the competition:
Champion for the Public Voting in the Social Innovation track (RM 10,000)
2nd place for the Judges’ Selection in the Social Innovation track (RM 5,000)
Team JomCut brought home 1 award:
3rd place for the Public Voting category in Technological Track (RM 2,000)

Both teams began their entrepreneurial journey at UTP since their 1st and 2nd Year study. They are also the recipients of MicroBiz seed funding provided by Technopreneurship Office and Yayasan UTP. Their achievements proved that you can be successful if you start early and even with low startup capital. What is more important is the patience, tenacity, perseverance, hardwork and network that you build in developing your venture.
We are so proud of their achievements. We hope it will inspire many more students to follow their footsteps. It’s never too late to dream big. What is important - take that first step. Find a problem to solve, and build a venture in solving that problem.
