UTP and ALECA Sdn Bhd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently for cooperation in teaching and research as well as developing academic exchanges. UTP Vice Chancellor Prof Ts. Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib and ALECA Sdn Bhd Managing Director Mr Serge Jean signed the MoU on behalf of the respective organisations.
With the signing of the MoU, both parties hope to create more opportunities for a long-term partnership in academic exchanges and joint research in areas of mutual interest.
Moving forward, UTP is keen to explore ALECA’s cloud-based licences that will equip UTP students, faculty and researchers with new knowledge and skills in the areas of geosciences and reservoir engineering.
