We are glad to announce that UTP through Technopreneurship Office, Centre for Student Development is the winner for the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2021 in the Outstanding Support for Students category.
The achievement is awarded for the virtual entrepreneurship programmes conducted that not only supporting students during pandemic last year but also as a scope to become a long term project.
In 2020 Technopreneurship Office has organized 58 entrepreneurial development programmes, 90% of which were delivered virtually.
The programmes provided the students with the alternative route towards employment and to nurture on the entrepreneurial mindset.
The judges said the programmes supports students now and in the future to make the most of their education and gives them the opportunity to proceed to startups or take innovative roles with the existing organizations. It shows significant scale in term of student benefits.
