The outreach project is organized by UTP Journalism Club with the intention of providing assistance and school outreach to underprivileged students. School closures during the pandemic has caused online learning mode to be forced onto students, causing those unable to own the required gadgets to be excluded. As a result, the phenomenon where students face difficulties in speaking and writing even in their mother tongue language has become more prominent as they return to school. In order to assist these students, meaningful literacy has to be taught to them primarily through visualisation.
The donation collected will be used to provide them with printed modules and stationaries for the syllabus-related activities in the tutoring session our club is providing for them.
