Assoc Prof Dr Ahlam Neamah Lafta, Iraqi Embassy Cultural Counsellor was received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ts. Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib on 26 January 2023 at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
The objectives of the visit are to share the latest information regarding Iraqi students studying at UTP, for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Also to explore the possibility of increasing the number of Iraqi students studying in Malaysia especially for undergraduate programmes and potential collaboration with academic, research and training institutions as well as the major industry players in Malaysia, particularly in activities such as joint programmes, training and research collaborations, and mobility programmes.
Assoc Prof Dr Ahlam Neamah Lafta was accompanied by Dr. Salah Mahdi Khaleel, Academic Advisor.
Also present to receive the delegation were Assoc Prof Dr Ku Zilati Ku Shaari, Registrar, Assoc Prof Ir Dr Rosdiazli Ibrahim, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Assoc Prof Ts. Dr Jafreezal Jaafar, Dean, Faculty of Science & Information, Assoc.
