Empowering Education, Uniting Communities: The Cahaya Garuda Project soared to new heights from 2nd to 9th May! Collaborating with top educational institutions in Indonesia - Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya, SMA Muhammadiyah 2, and Panti Asuhan Ashabul Kahfi - UTP embarked on the remarkable Road to SIDAFIT. This incredible journey brought together 14 talented UTP students, 2 advisors, and the exceptional leadership of Muhammad Farhan Ramli, a mechanical engineering student.
With a series of successful accomplishments, UTP achieved milestones that will leave a lasting impact. An international seminar gathered 400 students from our partner universities, fostering a vibrant exchange of knowledge and ideas. The Pentas Apresiasi Seni showcased the rich arts and culture of UTP gamelan group Sanggar Kirana and UTP performing arts group, along with the talented Tari dan Karawitan team from Universitas Airlangga.
UTP also made a difference in the community by installing engineering-based prototypes in Desa Gempol, Pasuruan, ensuring sustainable and innovative solutions. And as a gesture of love and care, UTP extended our support to an Orphanage Centre, spreading joy and warmth to those who need it most.
The Cahaya Garuda Project exemplifies the power of collaboration and dedication, as UTP paves the way for a brighter future. We are incredibly proud of the 14 UTP students who took part in this transformative journey, embracing new experiences during their 3-month short course exchange. Together, UTP is shaping a world where technology, innovation, and education thrive.
