We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between EnQuest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd (EnQuest) and Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) was signed on 25 September 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, marking a significant step towards strengthening collaboration and fostering industry-academic synergies.
Mr Gareth Penny, EnQuest's Chairman, was kind enough to grace us with his attendance. Mr Ahmed I Razif, General Manager and Country Head, EnQuest Malaysia, and Prof Datuk Ir Ts Dr M Ibrahim Bin A Mutalib, Vice Chancellor of UTP, attended the MoU signing ceremony. Both emphasized their common objective of supporting academic achievement and industry innovation in their speeches.
This partnership intends to foster the development of future talent through joint research initiatives, knowledge exchange programs, and technical collaborations. It emphasizes our commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and professionals in the energy sector.
We will continue to strengthen this relationship and explore new opportunities for growth and development. This MoU will enhance the partnership between EnQuest and UTP, to support the industry with qualified Malaysian talent.
