Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) has achieved many milestones over the last 25 years, including accolades and recognition for its academic programmes and research achievements. These accomplishments, however meaningful, do not suggest that the university can or should rest on its laurels.
As much as the university can take pride in the impressive achievements, it continues to strive to improve. The current UTP leadership is cognisant of the need for the university to pick up its pace, take its achievements one notch higher and galvanise the team towards accomplishing its vision and goals. And to that end the university is setting its sights on attaining sustainable global prominence.
