Centre for Foundation Studies serves as a vital feeder for UTP’s undergraduate programmes, offering a robust and comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students for the higher education. Our foundation programmes are meticulously crafted to ensure that students acquire the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to excel in their chosen fields.
There are two major streams offered by our centre: Foundation in Engineering & Science and Foundation in Business Management and Computing. Foundation in Engineering & Science programme equips students with a strong grounding in mathematics, physics, and other fundamental engineering principles. This stream prepares the students to pursue various engineering and science disciplines, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential for future engineers.
On the other hand, Foundation in Business Management & Computing programme provides a solid foundation in business principles, management practices, and computing skills. This stream is designed to nurture future leaders and innovators in the business and technology sectors, providing the students with both theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
