ELECTRECUP is an event that challenges participants to propose innovative ideas related to robotics and automation that align with the theme of "Green World for Future Generation." The competition requires participants to create a comprehensive poster that presents their proposed idea in detail, including its potential impact on the environment and the future.
Preliminary entries are not limited in terms of the number of participations; however, only 12 teams will be chosen from each category to present their poster(s) at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. Each team can consist of up to 3 students. Internal judges will assess the preliminary submissions and select 12 teams for each category. A total of 24 teams (12 groups for each category) will be invited to UTP on August 23rd and 24th, 2023. At the same time, workshops on autonomous robots and drones will be conducted for participants and visitors. From the 12 selected teams, 5 teams from each category will be chosen for the final pitching.
