MARE Malaysia Partners Meeting at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia (5 July 2022 – 7 July 2022)
The MARE Malaysia Partners meeting was conducted at the School of Mechanical Engineering, UTM from 5 – 7 July 2022. The meeting which was hosted by Dr. Arifah, begins with welcoming speech by Ts. Dr. Haris Ahmad bin Israr Ahmad, the Director of the Aeronautics, Automotive & Ocean Engineering Program from the School of Mechanical Engineering of UTM. Then, the speech was followed by Dr Kang Hooi Siang, the Director of Marine Technology Centre of UTM and Dr. Shamila Azman, the Director of the Department of Water and Environmental Engineering, from the School of Civil Engineering, UTM.
Dr. Khairul Anuar from UniKL MIMET also briefed on the meeting objectives and highlighted the required issues to be discussed, such as the request for project extensions to EACEA. All members of the meeting discuss on the prior agenda and rearranged the sequence.

The meeting involves all MARE Malaysia partners, i.e., UTP, UTM, UMT, and UniKL. The meeting includes discussions on the replacement of Mobility program among Malaysia partners, the stakeholder collaboration platform (national stakeholder workshop), interactive MOOC-like MARE courses, enhancement of collaboration with Vietnam partners, discussion of the financial status among Malaysia partners, current activities, and planning of upcoming activities and collaboration among Malaysia partners.
