The Faculty of Engineering is one of the two faculties at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). Constituted of an exceptional community of students, scholars, researchers, educators, and engineering practitioners, the Faculty of Engineering consists of five departments:

Founded on 1st April 2011, the Faculty is committed to educating the next generation of engineering leaders and supporting the University’s vision of becoming a leader in technology education and a center for creativity and innovation. All programs under the Faculty of Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC).
As the largest faculty in UTP, the Faculty of Engineering educates over 3,721 undergraduates from over 54 countries. With over 200 academic staff, the Faculty ensures quality and excellence in teaching and research.
The Faculty is recognized by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject, ranked in the top 200 globally for Engineering and Technology, and achieving high placements in specialized subjects like Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and more.
To ensure efficiency, the faculty has its own committee responsible for academics and examinations: the Engineering Faculty Academic Committee (EFAC).
