UPSR Answering Technique Camp 2010 at KEDA Camp, Sik, Kedah Darul Aman (1 - 5 July 2010)
The International Student Unit (ISU) sent one international and seven local UTP students (under-graduates) to the “UPSR Answering Technique Camp 2010” at KEDA Camp, Sik, Kedah Darul Aman on 22nd – 24th July 2010. Our students became facilitators to 39 primary school pupils of SK Kuak Hulu, Pengkalan Hulu, Perak Darul Ridzuan who are going to sit for a national exam known as “Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR)” It was actually a continuation of the community services programme at the school where the recent Mission Awareness Programme was held on 01st – 05th July 2010.
This program was organised by SK Kuak Hulu, Pengkalan Hulu in collaboration with the SK Kuak Hulu School Parents and Teachers Association. The objective of the programme is to give exposure to our students in facilitating and guiding school pupils to effectively answer questions in their examination. The programme was officiated by the school headmistress, Puan Hajah Saayah binti Abidin.
Various activities were organised, among them, how to answer exam questions, giving motivational talk, performing aerobic exercise and playing games. It was an interesting experience for UTP students since they took this programme as an opportunity to become good facilitators.
