Academic Advisory Council meeting 2011 (7 July 2011)
The Academic Advisory Council (AAC) of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) held their ninth meeting on 7 July 2011 at Level 86, Tower 1, PETRONAS Twin Towers. The Council members, UTP Management, Senate members and Research Leaders had a fruitful 3-hour discussion at the university campus in Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak prior to the meeting.
The Council amongst others discussed matters relating to financial sustainability of the university, which is the theme for this year’s meeting and also deliberated on other matters including R&D efforts and international linkages. The Council also acts as a forum for exchanging ideas between academicians and industry leaders, while providing guidance and strategic direction for UTP.
