Iftar with the Media at Heritage Hotel, Ipoh on 24 August 2011 / 24 Ramadhan 1432H
Organising Iftar gatherings with the local media in Perak in conjunction with Ramadhan, is one of the ways that the University conveys its appreciation to the media for publicising UTP’s contributions and achievements. It is also an opportunity for UTP to establish a better relationship and understanding with the media persons and meet their family members.
The Iftar was held on 24 August 2010 / 24 Ramadhan 1432H in Heritage Hotel, Ipoh and was hosted by YBhg Datuk Dr Zainal Abidin Hj Kasim, Vice Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
The event began with the breaking fast together followed by the Maghrib prayer, welcoming remarks by the Vice Chancellor, presentation of token and ‘duit raya’, Isya' and Tarawikh prayers.
Also present were members of UTP Management Committee and staff of Corporate Services Department
