UTP Emerged as Champion in 1 Malaysia Cultural Dance Competition at The Summit USJ, Subang Jaya (15 – 16 July 2011)
UTP emerged as the champion in 1 Malaysia Cultural Dance Competition organised by Junior Chamber International (JCI) Kuala Lumpur recently. 21 students from UTP Performing Arts Group (UPAG) participated in the competition which was held at The Summit USJ, Subang Jaya on 15-16 July 2011.
Overall, there were a total of 6 professional and amateur team in Malaysia took part in the competition. As the champion, UTP was given the honour to represent Malaysia in the 9th Cheonan World Festival which will be held from 27 September – 5 October 2011 in Korea. UTP will be competing with 29 teams from other countries around the globe in this prestigious annual cultural art festival.
The 1 Malaysia Cultural Dance Competition will be aired on RTM on 27 July 2011.
