​UTP Vice Chancellor Honoured for Contribution in Education

Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib has received the Amity Global Academic Excellence Award from Amity University India for his contribution in education.  The award honours leaders and academicians of extraordinary reputation in the fields of science, management and entrepreneurship at international level.


He received the award from Amity Universities Group Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Gurinder Singh during the 20th International Business Horizon (INBUSH) Era World Summit 2020 on 18 February 2020 at Amity University India.

 

Professor Mohamed Ibrahim is highly respected in the world of academics.  He has held distinguished positions in various important committees globally that strive for the development for best practices in education, research and consulting.  His leadership, expert guidance, keen involvement and strategic approach has propelled UTP to greater heights and has driven UTP towards excellence in its quest to become a globally sustainable prominent university.  Within a short span of time. the university has reached top 100 in the QS and THE Asia University Rankings.

Apart from receiving the award, Professor Mohamed Ibrahim was also a panellist for the summit’s forum on “Future of Higher Education: Challenges & Opportunities for International Universities.”


 The INBUSH ERA World Summit aims to address issues of engineering, technology, and business management and it is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Engineering, Technology and Business Management. It aims to bring in the academicians and practitioners to jointly discuss and deliberate through their plenary talks and paper presentations on the theme Engineering, Information Technology, Operations and Supply Chain Management and Business Management.
