UTP Student Development Advisory Council Meeting
UTP Student Development Advisory Council (SDAC) recently met for the ninth time to discuss on the importance of student development and student experience for the university’s sustainable future.
To ensure a sustainable future, it is pertinent for the university to continuously produce graduates with high entrepreneurial mindset who are creating value either in organisation or as job creators, to nurture global mindset, values and behaviour through student mobility programmes and internationalisation of experiences, to nurture global citizenship mindset through students’ involvement in community outreach programmes and to nurture leaderships and enrich talents through involvements in community outreach programmes.
Themed ‘Reimagining Student Development Beyond 2025’, forum sessions between the SDAC members, staff and students were held on topics of global citizens, leadership of future and future of work.
The SDAC currently has 13 members who are leaders and experts in their respective fields:
