"What role can we play in enhancing our collective well-being for a more sustainable future?" to find the answers, the Institute of Self-Sustainable Building for Smart Living (ISB) under the theme Smart Communities, leads the research and Innovation (R&I) in green and clean (GLEAN) technologies for buildings, in the aspects of energy, materials, water and waste and their impacts on social and community well-being. ISB seeks innovation discoveries and practices in buildings and communities, with the least environmental impacts, are affordable and efficient.
Our research aims towards Smart Green Building: GLEAN technologies in energy generation and consumption, sustainable building materials and construction practices, produces zero waste and ensures community well-being. ISB moves in three pillars: Discover & Advance Innovative Solutions; Partner & Collaborate; and Educate/Impart Knowledge.
