Deloitte Malaysia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UTP to collaborate on various student development initiatives. A key component of this collaboration will be the Deloitte-UTP Kickstarter programme.
The MoU was signed by Deloitte Consulting SEA Managing Director Kavita Rekhraj and UTP Vice Chancellor Prof Ts. Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Deloitte Consulting SEA Executive Director Azhar Hussin and UTP Deputy Vice Chancellor Student Affairs Prof Dr Nor Hisham Hamid.
The Deloitte-UTP Kickstarter is a mentorship programme that aims to empower students to drive and accelerate University Social Responsibility projects. The programme matches Deloitte consultants to a UTP student in a mentor-mentee relationship, with the hope to enable students to become successful social entrepreneurs. It provides students a clear path to education, skills development, and employment opportunities.
