Congratulations to Dr Subarna Sivapalan, Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETaL) Director on her recent appointment as the Acumen Academy Fellow. She represents Malaysia within the global social change and social innovation space, committed on developing an inclusive, just and sustainable world.
As an Acumen Fellow, she contributes towards UTP’s social change and social responsibility causes, marrying together her current passions in education, sustainability, climate change and community empowerment. She will also advocate for universities as an important voice for social transformation.
Acumen Academy, which is headquartered in US, is prominently known as the World’s School for Social Change.
