UTP received one of the highest recognitions at the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Entrepreneurial Award 2021.
YB Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, the Minister of Higher Education presented the prize to UTP as a finalist for the Institutional Award (University) for being Top 3 among the IPTA/IPTS who participated in the category. The ceremony was held at Putrajaya Marriot Hotel last Tuesday.
Representing UTP were Prof Nor Hisham Hamid, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and En. Mohd Zamri Abdullah, the Manager of Technopreneurship Office.
UTP aims to develop innovative and entrepreneurial graduates who are able to create values in organization or as job creators that provide impact to the nation.
Aligned with Shift #1 of the MOHE Education Blueprint 2015-2025 and Entrepreneurship Action Plan HLIs 2021-2025, the development of innovative and entrepreneurial graduates is carried out through curriculum, co-curriculum and extra-curriculum deliveries in ensuring 100% UTP graduates are upskilled in both domains.
In addition, UTP Technopreneurship Office acts as a catalyst to develop student entrepreneurs who are also creating jobs opportunities for the others.
