Mr. Orikasa Hiroyuki, Consul-General, Consulate-General of Japan in Penang was received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Ts. Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib on 18 February 2022 at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
The objective of the courtesy visit is to explore potential Japanese related activities in UTP for future collaboration and also to have a closer look at the campus and its facilities.
Mr. Orikasa Hiroyuki was accompanied by Ms. Liew Bee Lan, Assistant for Public Relations & Cultural Exchange Division and Encik Hazman Zainuri, Alumni Look East Policy Society (ALEPS) Northern Representative. Also present were Prof Ir Dr Hilmi Mukhtar, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic, Puan Shamsina Shaharun, Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Assoc Prof Dr Ku Zilati Ku Shaari, Dean of Faculty of Engineering.
