Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and Universitas Pertamina (UPER) Indonesia have entered into an agreement to collaborate on a special track for a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours. Additionally, a new track for Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Chemistry has been introduced as part of this collaboration.
This partnership provides opportunities for Sarjana Teknik and Sarjana Kimia, UP students to transfer their credits to either the UTP Chemical Engineering or Applied Chemistry programmes respectively, upon completing the first two (2) years at UPER. Upon transferring to UTP, students will spend the remaining two (2) years of study, which includes an internship.
Upon successful completion of their studies, students will be awarded degrees from both UTP and UPER. This collaboration offers students the advantage of studying abroad, gaining exposure to a Malaysian internship experience, and enhancing their employability worldwide, including in Malaysia.
This initiative serves as an excellent opportunity for students seeking diverse learning and cultural experiences, coupled with an affordable tuition fee and living expenses. It aligns with the vision of creating well-rounded graduates equipped with both technical skills and a global perspective.
