• Candidates will be assigned 5 hours of academic activities per week in the form of tutorials or laboratory demonstration or any other related academic activities

Laboratory
UTP provides 80 laboratories for undergraduate courses and up to 80 research labs for postgraduate courses. All labs are ISO certified.
Sports
UTP supports students’ participation in sports, as it enriches the learning experience and promotes leadership and teamwork.
Library
Fondly nicknamed as IRC, the library has an open display of books in four-storey high shelves, storing more than 200,000 book titles and materials.
Gymnasium
UTP provides a complete gymnasium for students’ fitness related activities, operating 7-days a week excluding public holidays.
Swimming Pool
Students have full access to UTP’s swimming facility, where they are able to enjoy a 25-meter swimming pool among an array of other physical fitness and co-curricular activities.

The Residential Village is able to accommodate 100% of the total student population once fully completed, and will feature community-shared facilities comprising of administration, shops, launderette and dining area.

UTP has 14 cafeterias operating at strategic locations around campus, serving a variety of affordable local and international food selections.
Clubs & Societies

R&D Building
Home to 65 laboratories and offices, this four-storey high structure holds a total floor area of 21,225 square meters - accommodating up to 550 researchers and staff at any one time.

A: Yes. Students will be provided with accommodation for the whole duration of study in UTP. Kindly refer to the Tuition fees section for more details on the cost of accomodation
Q: Does UTP provide sponsorship?
A: No. UTP only offers placement for students to further their studies. However, there are certain UTP financial assistance available for those who meet the requirements/criteria. Qualified students will be assisted by the Sponsorship & Welfare Unit in applying for available sponsorship/financial assistance (PTPTN, JPA, MARA, PETRONAS etc).
