International Advisory Council
The International Advisory Council (IAC) is established as a forum for the exchange of ideas between Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and various sectors of society as well as eminent international scholars. The IAC members are appointed amongst prominent individuals who would be able to contribute to the strategic development of the University.
The IAC is responsible to provide guidance and advice to UTP in its journey towards the successful accomplishment of its vision and mission and its aspiration to achieve sustainable global prominence vis-a-vis academic; research, innovation and commercialisation; student development and experience; and sustainability.
The IAC's Chairman and Members are appointed by the University's Board of Directors and have been meeting annually since 21 February 2003. After 2019, the IAC meeting has been changed to biennially.
